Hello, I understand there is a limit of 100 ... (Randy Johnson)

Hello, I understand there is a limit of 100 names in the CC field for outgoing emails. I agree that this is a sensible solution.

However, today one of my colleagues tried to send out an email with 60 names in the CC field and they all got returned with the 452 error, "too many recipients."

He says he regularly sends mails to this group and has never had a problem until today. He has recently switched from Outlook Express to Outlook 2002, but everything else is the same.

I would really appreciate any advice or suggestions you can provide. Thank you very much in advance for your help!

A couple of days ago I upgraded from Thunderbird 1.something to
2.0.0.14--straight upgrade, no configuration changes that I knew about--
and ever since I've been getting a never-before-seen error message when
I start Thunderbird:
mail.his.com has sent an incorrect or unexpected message. Error Code -12263

I click on OK and everything works just fine, as far as I can tell.
Occasionally I also get a message saying mail.his.com has timed out but I don't see any obvious loss of function--I'm still sending and receiving mail.
I have Thunderbird set up for IMAP on port 143
Any insights would be appreciated.

I'm having trouble getting a newsreader set up to access news.his.com. Is there a FAQ or help-file on the site that discusses setting up access to news.his.com?

Also, is "news.his.com" still the node to use for news access? I've been getting "can't reach that address or DNS is down" errors, which is what started me looking for a help-file or FAQ.

Thanks -- Edward Rice

I am receiving so much junk email it is ... (Louise)

I am receiving so much junk email it is impossible to wade through all the messages that Postini captures to look for those that are not junk.
Is it possible to suspend my account for a few weeks and have all those spam messages bounced back to their senders in the hopes that I'll be removed from whatever list I am on? I have used my address professionally for nearly 10 years and do not want to change it or abandon it. I am about to give my address out to a new group of people who are not in my address book. I would like to be able to figure out a way to let them through and not get caught by Positini.

Any suggestions.
